Service Rules

Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

These terms apply to the cross-border access, international website access, and network acceleration subscription services provided by MaoVPN. By visiting this website, creating an account, or using a subscription, users confirm that they have read and agree to follow these terms. If they do not agree, they must stop using the service. Information about specific subscriptions on the plan pages and in the user panel forms part of these terms.

Service Content and Scope

MaoVPN provides optimized network connectivity through international routes, currently covering 90+ countries and 200+ routes, with support for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Routes, access regions, and client availability may change due to maintenance, upstream adjustments, target service policies, or local network conditions.

The service is intended to improve cross-border links and the connection experience when accessing international websites. It does not guarantee access to any particular website, application, content, or region at all times. Target services may change their regional policies, account rules, or connection requirements independently of MaoVPN. Users should select suitable routes for their actual needs and confirm the target service's terms of use themselves.

Account and Subscription Rules

No email address is required for registration; a username and password are sufficient. Users must protect their account credentials, subscription information, and login sessions, and are responsible for activity carried out through their accounts. If credentials may have been exposed, users should change their passwords promptly and check the subscription status in the user panel.

Subscriptions support use on unlimited devices, but are limited to the account holder and devices they reasonably manage. Users must not publicly share account credentials or subscription information, sell, rent, transfer, or split subscriptions for distribution, or package a personal subscription as another network service for third parties. The account holder is responsible for unusual connections, traffic use, and account risks caused by public distribution, resale, or improper sharing.

Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date. When upgrading mid-cycle, the price difference is calculated based on the remaining days. Traffic packages are deducted according to actual use, remain available until used, and never expire. Users should verify the plan type, traffic allowance, and current account status before submitting a subscription choice.

Compliant Use Requirements

Users must comply with the laws and regulations of their location and any region relevant to their use of the service, as well as the rules of the websites, applications, and platforms they access. The service must not be used for unlawful activity, infringement of others' legitimate rights, unauthorized system access, malicious scanning, distribution of harmful programs, disruption of network operations, large-scale resource abuse, or circumvention of normal security measures on third-party platforms.

Users must not use a subscription in a way that could harm the MaoVPN network, upstream services, or the connection quality of other users. To protect routes and service operations, MaoVPN may conduct necessary checks of clearly abnormal connection activity and, within a reasonable scope, restrict access, suspend a subscription, or require the user to stop the relevant activity.

Service Availability and Liability

MaoVPN maintains, adjusts, and troubleshoots its routes according to operating conditions. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected network failures, upstream route changes, equipment or system issues, target service policy changes, and events beyond reasonable control may cause interruptions, speed fluctuations, or temporary unavailability of some routes.

Users should save important materials themselves and confirm the current network status before performing critical operations. MaoVPN is not responsible for the content of target websites, account decisions, or results delivered by third-party services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is not liable for losses caused by a user's device configuration, system limitations, local network conditions, changes to third-party platforms, or violation of these terms.

Suspension, Termination, and Changes to These Terms

If a user engages in unlawful use, subscription resale, public credential sharing, malicious consumption of network resources, service disruption, harm to other users' rights, or a serious breach of these terms, MaoVPN may suspend or terminate the relevant account and subscription based on the nature of the conduct. To verify unusual activity, the service may ask users to submit necessary explanations through the user panel.

MaoVPN may revise these terms when its service scope, operating rules, or legal requirements change. Updates will be published on this page or in the user panel and will identify the update month. Continued use of the service after the revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If users do not agree to the changes, they may stop using the subscription.

Refund Policy

A full refund without giving a reason may be requested within 30 days of the first payment. Refund requests must be submitted through a ticket in the user panel with verifiable order information. Processing is based on the actual payment record, subscription status, and order details associated with the account.

After a refund is completed, the subscription benefits associated with that payment may end. This refund policy does not affect other rights available to users under applicable law. Before submitting a request, users should ensure that their order information is accurate so payment and subscription records can be verified.
